Ok first off, I don't have a Mustang. I *do* have a Mercury Topaz out back that's on blocks and surrounded by weeds. There's also a pile of old tires about 10 feet to the left of my Topaz. Now that we have that all cleared up I'd like to respond to the remainder of your email.. Ahem.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I think that about covers it, thanks for writing in sparky. |

and mad max, the mercury marauder WILL NOT kill a 350Z on the dragstrip, far from it...
the marauder runs something like a 7.5 to 60mph and like low 15's on the strip, the 350Z is 6.0 seconds and 14's respectively |

i drive a sentra, albeit a sporty one (se-r) and I know that a few people are jealous of my car, like some riceboy driving a pimped-out civic, but not musclecar guys who have much more power and better looks than me...oh well
but NissanDriven thinking that people are jealous of an xe sentra.....thats pretty fucking dumb |

NissanDriven, please tell me how you got your sentra to 140mph...
mine tops out at around 130-140 WITH 175hp and 180ft-lb of torque
now you're telling me that a sentra xe easily hits 140 "every day" while having like 50 less hp/torque than me?
the only thing i can think of is the gearing, does an xe have taller gears over an se-r?
or are you just bullshitting...which one is it |

| Okay, Ambient, you ARE correct about the Marauder. The first-year models, stock, will run about a 7.5 0-60, and should run a low 15, 15-flat at the strip. But there's a supercharged model, reportedly with 355 horsepower and an available two-door, convertible body, on the horizon. That should help matters a bit. Besides, no sane person would really consider the Marauder and the 350Z competitors. The Mustang Cobra is a closer competitor, and for the price, the Cobra has it all over the 350Z. |

| Nissan just why the fuck would i be jeolous of your lame assed sentra. I drive a high 12 second Mustang GT and a 02 Jetta 1.8T both cars are far better than your XE Senta. And yes my Jetta will take your Sentra not nearly as bad as my GT but enough to piss ya off quite a little bit. But oh i am sooooo jealous. BTW most of us here have trap speeds at the drags higher than the top speed of your Senta. |

Actually, according to Car and Driver, the new 350Z runs 0-60 in 5.7 seconds, and the quarter flashes by in about 14.1. Not bad at all.
But power windows come standard? Puh-leeze. |

To whom it may concern,
Hi my name is Nissandrivin and i am a total assclown.
Someday i will learn that my Sentra is a ricey piece of shit and that it also incredibly slow. I know i shouldn't come to this board mainly because i am a ricer, however i am a glutton for punishment. Deep down inside i know my car is pathetic and i hope to own a real car someday. Once i reach puberty or once i reach the age of reason i will learn that my sentra will never be fast and that it is in fact by no means in comparison a sports car, nor will it ever be. I somtimes believe that everone who flames my is jealous of my car for reasons that i cannot explain. When flamed i tend to use terms such as gay,fag, or any other homosexual comment i can think of. I someday hope to outgrow this phase i am in and eventually become open minded and not blind to reason. I further plan on someday growing up and becoming a man. thank you for your time

off-topic a bit, but i really do enjoy the torque in my sentra...from about 2500 rpm it will pull hard even in third, and i can put two stripes down starting off in second gear...take that civics!
180lbft at 4000rpm isnt much, but with a pretty broad powerband, in a light car, its fun ;p
no replacement for displacement 2.5L |
