This just in: Cars that should not under any circumstances have wings.. let's go to some pictures from the field.
Our first picture shatters the misconception that Oldsmobile's are in fact not race cars. One look at this picture and I'm sure you'll be convinced. |

On a similar note, Cadillac is widely known for their luxury cars and their trucks that conform to bling-bling rims. But their line of race cars often goes overlooked, I'd actually go as far as saying it's completely unknown to the general public. |

I just want to point out that the hanging parking light is purely an asthetic mod in case you thought otherwise. |

Add one more car to the Honda's that envy BMW's list. |

That hood scoop is almost as functional as the striped tires. |

Here's what BuudWeizErr had to say: What we have here is a Civic, painted in the uncommon Type R Yellow, with Focal Rims, Altezzas, and Airbags. Very Original. From a distance, one might think that this is a rather clean, original car, however, upon closer examination, one would quickly find out that this car is truly RICE. His first violation? The Wing. It used to be a 3 piece Integra Midwing. However, this riceboy has decided that the two sides are not needed, and thus has used only the center portion, which is of course, the most important. His second violation? Check out his left rear wheelwell. Nice big piece missing. Oh well, it probably wasn't important anyway. The rest of his violations are obvious. |

Another car with tumors. Automotive cancer is spreading like wildfire among small cars. |

This car may have green altezza's but who's going to notice those when you have snazzy "Back Off" mud flaps? |

His trunk latch broke so he needed something to keep it down. |

Here's what Sham had to say: Ok boys and girls, I just wanted to share my suffering with all of you. This amazing specimen was spotted in the parking lot of my brothers school. Some things to notice: 1) The amazing "Back Off" mud guards featuring a familiar childhood cartoon character. (Trooper note: The "Back Off" mud flaps on the above neon AND this car can't be a coincidence.. maybe they're part of the "Back Off' car club?) 2) The cool hub caps. 3) The customized exhaust tip. Very racy. 4) The incredible custom work done on the hood scoop. Obviously has a supercharger hiding under the hood. (Trooper note: Who says you can't make a hood scoop out of a shoe box?) 5) The outstanding "Fyre" decal paint job. Very modern. (Trooper note: The paint job cost more then the car guaranteed) 6) A small but stylish and racy touch, the red painted rear wiper. Adds approx. 20 hp. (Trooper note: This paint job cost more then the car too) 7) and last but not least, the custom interior work done, including "sports" aluminum steering wheel and matching shift knob from the Canadian Tire catalog. I plan to stand by this car tomorrow and wait till the owner shows himself, so that I may shake his hand and give him a cool "Fear This" sticker to complete the look. If you see this car be sure to respect the owner with a thumbs up. |

Before there was rice, there were street freaks. Armed with fender flares, cowcatcher like body kits and other bodywork inspired by IMSA racers, bizarre paint jobs, and other styling attrocities, these prowled the streets of the 70's. They're mostly gone now, but I've managed to photograph what appears to be a surviving speciman a few weeks ago. I've attached a JPEG of it, straight from the digital camera with no color correction. I think the other Ricecop readers would get a kick out of it. |
