Officer EvilCabbage: Someone I saw parked in the carpark at work... this asshole cut me off in the street a few days ago, and now I cant let the prick get away scot-free.

Uhm yeah, BaDBoY? Did you notice where it says this picture was taken in Australia? Over there, the previous generation Lancer was sold as, you guessed it, a Lancer. Even though the previous generation Lancer was sold here in North America as the Mirage, this was the only continent where it was sold with that moniker. Now who doesn't know much about cars? BTW, I drive a Cavalier wagon, I would never be caught dead in a Ford. I drive my car out of neccesity, not want. If it was want, I'd be driving a Trans Am convertible.

| Ah, the Lancer...or is it the Mirage? Well, you might as well call it a Mirage...because that is what it is. It looks like it is a really fast car from a distance, but as you get closer to ir, it fades away. Tell ya one thing, if I lived somewhere where they sold the Lancer (the real Lancer), I would own nothing short of an EVO. No excuse for it. This is like a 6 cylinder Corvette. Just plain stupid. |

| No, it's a Lancer. That's the world-wide name of it. In North America, we had a Lancer, but it was badged as a Mirage. Just like we had the Ford Mondeo sold here, but badged as a Ford Contour. So this car in particular is NOT a Mirage, it's a Lancer. The only way that it would be a Mirage, is if it were a North American market car, which it isn't. It's Australian. |

| The above car IS a Mitsubishi Lancer, I've seen it around and unfortunately many like them. Theres another car we have called the Mitsu Mirage, it's a hatchbacl though, two different cars, but share a similar front end. Theres los of these(Lancers) going around with Evo kits, etc. Ive only seen about 6/7 genuine Evos around here. |
