well, theres barely any room in that thing. it would be even weirder to be sitting normally and have your hand/arm resting against his leg.

im sure that he doesnt have his arm around the other guy for any reason other than he didnt want to put it on his leg. If you have ever spent any time in a custom rod like that, or any t-bucket, etc. youd know that they are pretty tight and sometimes you have no choice other than to touch the other person. no biggie, unless the other guy starts to hit on you lol
